Job Summary
Keyrus is seeking an Alteryx Consultant specializing in data preparation to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Alteryx Designer to perform complex data transformation, cleansing, and integration tasks. Experience with Alteryx Cloud is a plus. You will collaborate with key stakeholders in the US to prepare data for analytics and reporting, ensuring efficient and accurate data flows.
This position must be based in the EU (fully remote).

Key Responsibilities
- Data Preparation and Transformation: Use Alteryx tools to extract, cleanse, and transform data from various sources, preparing it for analytics, reporting, and business intelligence use cases.
- Workflow Design: Design, develop, and optimize Alteryx workflows to meet client data preparation needs, ensuring seamless data integration and processing.
- Collaboration with Data Teams: Work closely with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and provide tailored data preparation solutions.
- Best Practices Implementation: Promote and implement best practices in data preparation, ensuring high-quality, consistent data processing, and compliance with data governance policies.
- Troubleshooting and Support: Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for Alteryx workflows, addressing any data quality or performance issues.
- Training and Knowledge Transfer: Conduct training sessions for clients and internal teams on using Alteryx tools for data preparation, promoting self-service analytics capabilities.
Requirements for the role
- Experience with Alteryx: 2+ years of experience working with Alteryx Designer, preferably with a focus on data preparation and transformation tasks. Experience with Alteryx Cloud is a plus.
- Data Integration: Proficiency in connecting to various data sources (databases, cloud storage, APIs) and performing complex data integration using Alteryx.
- Strong Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze large datasets, identify data quality issues, and implement cleansing and transformation processes in Alteryx.
- SQL and Data Modeling: Solid understanding of SQL and data modeling concepts for designing efficient data workflows.
- Cloud Experience: Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Strong troubleshooting skills for addressing data issues and optimizing workflow performance.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with clients, understand requirements, and provide clear guidance and support.
- Certifications: Alteryx Designer Core and Advanced Certifications are a plus.
- Additional Skills: Experience with business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and understanding of data governance and compliance practices are a plus.
- Fluent in English
- Must be a Portuguese or European citizen or have a work permit for Portugal
